Ginger Cake

Here is something to satisfy that crafty itch we all sometimes get. Patterns and projects by Gingercake! I have really enjoyed browsing her shop and especially her BLOG. It really got my creative juices flowing and I'm feeling rather inspired. I found a few practical ideas and so many cute patterns that I don't know what to make first! Perhaps my very favorite item.... this stuffed lucky elephant:   

Something about him just screams MAKE ME!!! But I know I can't stop there, because I think these owl purses are a great gift idea for my nieces. I want to use them like a gift bag, and then they can also keep them for a purse! Look at all the adorable color combos:

And something for the "everything-has-its-rightful-place" kind of person. I think these Crayon Art Folios are perfect for keeping those art supplies neatly tucked away until they are suddenly needed. Cute CUTE!

Hapari Swimwear

The season for swimsuits is upon us!  It will soon be time to take the plunge into a pool or lake while the sun roasts your shoulders.  Awww, sounds good right? Here is a great resource for some new swimwear.

I always go for the Tankini sets but you'll find all varieties on their website. The great part is that when you find a print you like they usually have that same print in all styles and sizes. YES!

I am GIDDY with excitement about the discovery I just made. JM Cremp's Adventure Store for boys! Or if you had a childhood like mine it could definitely be for adventurous little girls as well!

I don't even know where to begin, because there is so much great merchandise available here. From camping and hiking gear - to space and military toys. They even have costumes! Let me just show you a few things I found while browsing:

First of all, this zipline for endless hours of summer entertainment. I think it should come with a "sure to toughen them up" guarantee:) 

I can't think of a little boy who wouldn't want this fire engine red speedster! A sturdy car with all the bells and whistles. Oh the joys of childhood!

 

Now this next little diddy might seem a bit precarious, but I myself have been on one of these and LOVE them. There is something even more magical about it than a regular swing. A SPRING swing!

I could go on all day. There are SO many projects, activities, lessons, and products designed for kids! I found the perfect gift for my nephew at their site, and I haven't ruled out shopping for my HUSBAND there either! Dezign with a Z

As far as vinyl lettering goes, I think this is the place for selection. So many graphics, designs, characters, and colors! I have spent quite some time browsing their stuff and dreaming of the possibilities. So let me show you a few of my favorites ---

I am not usually one for the girly frills, but this design stood out to me. Perfect for a little girls room if you ask me, and comes in all sorts of color combinations (even glow in the dark!)


 This is more my usual style. Simple, classy and easily adaptable. There are lots more floral, and nature patterns where this one came from!

My other favorites include the abstract section (where you will find geometric shapes to your hearts content) and then there are the WRITABLES! You can actually write on the vinyl - again and again - like a dry erase board. I think these are adorable and genius.
