I found another crochet master over at IMOMZI on Etsy. Lots of awesome hat variations, and photo accessories! I am giddy :)

I am obviously picking out  the little boy ones, because I am kind of partial that way. But you should really go check out the girl stuff. It is (dare I say) even CUTER that the boy stuff.

I think what really stands out to me about this shop is the color combination she uses - I love the vibrant contrast in each design. And she has so many variations of style. cute cute, oh so cute.

Crocodile Crunch

A shop overflowing with adorable boutique items! Mostly for little girls mind you, but I did find a few things for my little man!

 I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to win $20 GC to use at Crocodile Crunch so I can buy this blue elephant fabric box!

Another item I have my eye on is the ties and tie onesies - I am impressed that I can ask for different fabric and she is happy to custom make these!

What to Expect

I am at 19 weeks in my pregnancy (almost half way!) and sometimes I feel so lost as to what is going on with my crazy changing body. Not to mention how the development of my baby is coming along and what I can do to positively influence these changes.

Well, I have several friends who have suggested the book "What to Expect when you're Expecting." I've thumbed through it a few times and wished I had my own copy.I've been thinking about buying it, but kind of feel like it's too late now that I am already in my second trimester.

Well, here is my chance! There is a giveaway for not only this book, but the trio of  "What to Expect" books.Perfect!

Oshi mat

Well, as most of you know, I am expecting in May! And so, I have been browsing the wide world of baby gear! There is always a dilemma about what things are absolutely necessary, what things would be useful, and what things are just plain for the fun of it.

I think this Oshi Mat kind of falls somewhere between useful, and..... SO MUCH FUN!

With just a few great patterns to choose from, I like the simplicity of picking out one of these mats. So many of the baby things I am in the market for require so much research. hahaha.

Shabby Apple!

YEEEES! Discovered another Shabby Apple Dress Giveaway!

I've been watching Shabby Apple for a while now and compiling a never-ending wish list. There are just so many cute styles. I have put together my dream outfits for every occasion, and for every mood! Of course I am not a millionaire so I have pick and choose - but their prices really aren't bad for what you get, and I wanted to spread the word!
 Now that I am expecting I have been browsing their cute maternity section and have replaced the above wish list item with the new "baby bump" version:

Another great place to find baby footwear - you know I can't resist! This time it is slippers from Bepe Baby.That's not all they make, so if you are looking for other baby accessories, be sure to go browsing at their website! Or find them on Facebook, where I found even more style options!

I know summer is over for now, but I love the bright colors all year round.

With a no slip grip, and a soft white fabric, these boots are a definite favorite!

Simple and striped - how can you go wrong? They look so warm and cozy, don't they!?

I have been having some fun browsing the uncommon goods website and have found some really cute stuff. If you are looking for a holiday gift, or something for yourself, you'll have to go take a look for yourself because I have been focused on the baby stuff ---

 Since my husband and I have waited a long time for the kid thing to happen, this would be fun to have for when we finally did have a little one :)

 I used to love that saying "i scream you scream we all scream for ice cream" and it is even funnier when you think about a baby screaming. cute shirt!

 Ever since the first time I saw these in an Etsy shop I have thought they were super funny and the perfect baby boy gift. Silly and practical at the same time - just a really great idea.

 I am always a sucker for baby shoes, and I have never seen any like these before. They look pretty comfy and would go with any outfit to give it a little pizzazz.

 Okay, and one thing that I looked at for myself, because it's just quirky:

 A belt that actually fastens like a seat belt. Ha!

Sew Very Thankful

I am so glad there are so many awesome ladies out there blessed with the talent of making adorable custom clothing for kids! I am just in awe at all these awesome shops filled with well-made items!

Today I found Sew Very Thankful on Etsy, and love her festive work. She has perfect little outfits for boys or girls along with very reasonably priced monogramming!
This pumpkin shirt (with matching pants) really stood out to me as something my nieces would love to wear. It makes them feel so special to have a special outfit for a special outing, especially when it has their very own name on it!
Some of the applique images are just too cute to handle! This elephant, along with a few of the others could be used for boy or girl, and just picture the name coming out of the trunk, or tucked away just below it's feet.

My absolute FAVORITE item in her shop is a ruffle pants set with an acorn and polkadots! Go check it out in her Sew Very Thankful shop!

I am already completely and happily immersed in the Christmas mode. I know... I sort of skipped the Halloween and Thanksgiving bit - but I just can't help myself this year!

So when I show you highlights of this shop full of wonderful paper crafts (such as tags, invitations, and cupcake toppers) please forgive me if I focus entirely on the Christmas assortment...

There is something NECESSARY to me about making a Christmas gift special and individualized. Even in the crazy rush of things, and the absolute stress zone,  I refuse to give cliche' and meaningless gifts. So, I think I will use these little time-saving tags this year!
